A western disturbance is set to ease the heatwave across northwest India starting April 11, with rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds forecasted, according to the IMD.

In Delhi-NCR, a yellow alert is in place for Noida and Gurugram. While temperatures may briefly touch 39°C on Friday, rainfall and winds up to 50 km/h are expected to cool things down by about 2°C through April 12. The weather will stay pleasant till Saturday, with heat possibly returning by April 15.
Karnataka, especially Bengaluru, will see partly cloudy skies, with light rain and thunderstorms likely across the state, including moderate rainfall in coastal and hilly regions.
In Bihar, an orange alert has been issued for several districts, with heavy rain, thunderstorms, and winds up to 50 km/h expected through Friday and Saturday. On Thursday, severe weather claimed 25 lives, with the worst-hit being Nalanda.
Telangana is also under alert, with thunderstorms, lightning, and winds (30–40 km/h) predicted across multiple districts on April 11.
